FIRST THINGS FIRST – Let’s Address the Elephant in the Room

Not everything went to plan during our initial token launch on April 23, 2021. In the spirit of full transparency, let’s take a minute to list those things.
The Bitmart hack scooped up 40 million $STARS, locked them, and there’s a risk they can dump at any time.
The FTX crash affected our market makers in a serious way and caused an even deeper crash in the token price.
Given the above, it has been damn near impossible to grow $STARS and its value, like a one-legged duck trying to swim straight. With this migration and the launch of the new token, $MOGUL, we are able to grow the token’s value and utility exponentially. This duck now has two cyborg legs.
It was a combo of kicks and punches that we didn’t see coming. It wobbled us, but it didn’t knock us out, and like a Phoenix from the ashes, we plan to rise.
We’re thrilled to welcome Matt Gigault as our new CEO! With a stellar finance background and a knack for innovation, Matt is set to propel Mogul into an exhilarating future in the Web 3.0 landscape.
Matt is passionate about film and envisions a future where blockchain is integral to every facet of filmmaking. He believes Mogul Productions has the ability to create opportunities for creators that don’t have access to the traditional studio model.
With James Pratt’s continued rise in Hollywood, we are honored that he has chosen to step up as Head of Production for Mogul. A little background on James: He is an award-winning actor, director, and former four-time Australian Real Estate Auctioneer of the Year winner. He is the recipient of various international film awards including Best Actor at the Los Angeles Film Awards, Best Director at the 2022 Cannes Film Awards, and Best Actor at the 2022 Beyond Hollywood International Film Festival.
If you’ve been keeping up with our social media, you already know that we have some pretty insane teasers out there. Yes, we do have several amazing cinematic projects ready to launch. Keep paying attention because these announcements are going to happen sooner than you can imagine.
Even more exciting, we are proud to share that a film we were an early investor in is getting a wide theatrical release, potentially over 2,000 screens across North America. The movie is called “City of Dreams.” We will leave a link to its article on Deadline at the bottom of this blog.

The last three months have really been about building ourselves back up. We have been engaging like crazy on our social media platforms. We have quietly been investing in AI technologies to complement our suite of products. We updated our Web2 website as well as our Web3 dashboard. The foundation has been built for exponential growth.
Ultimately, we understand our mission. For too long, a small group of people have made all the choices in the film world and hoarded all the profits. We are here to change that. This is how we will give the power and the profits to the people. No one ever said that was gonna be easy, but like any good story, the ups and downs are what make the final triumph that much more cathartic. Stick with Mogul, collaborate with Mogul, connect with Mogul, become a Mogul.
